Bucks' Donte DiVincenzo Undergoes Successful Surgery

Hamstring Injury Sidelines Star

Surgery Completed on November 1, 2022

MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Milwaukee Bucks guard Donte DiVincenzo underwent successful surgery on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, to repair a torn left hamstring.

DiVincenzo suffered the injury during the Bucks' preseason game against the Golden State Warriors on October 23. He was initially diagnosed with a strained hamstring, but further evaluation revealed the tear.

The surgery was performed by Dr. William C. Stanley Jr. at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. DiVincenzo is expected to miss the remainder of the 2022-23 season.

The Bucks released a statement saying that they are "disappointed" to lose DiVincenzo for the season, but that they are "confident that he will make a full recovery." The team also added that they "look forward to welcoming him back to the court next season."

DiVincenzo was a key member of the Bucks' championship team in 2021, and his absence will be a major blow to the team's hopes of repeating as champions. The Bucks will now have to rely on other players to step up in DiVincenzo's absence.
