The Philippines Department of Transportation (DOTr) and San Miguel Corporation (SMC) signed an agreement on 18-Sep-2019 for the construction, operation, and maintenance of a new Manila International Airport in Bulacan province. The project is estimated to cost P735 billion and is expected to be completed by 2027.

The new airport will be located in Bulacan province, north of Manila. It will have four runways and a capacity of 100 million passengers per year. The airport will be designed to accommodate the largest aircraft in the world, including the Airbus A380 and the Boeing 747-8.

The new airport is expected to boost the Philippine economy and create thousands of jobs. It will also help to reduce congestion at the existing Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Manila.

The project is a major milestone for the Philippine government's infrastructure program. The government is investing heavily in infrastructure projects to improve the country's economy and create jobs.
