New details have emerged about the eagerly anticipated sequel to the classic comedy film Beverly Hills Cop. Eddie Murphy will return to his signature role as Axel Foley, the street-smart Detroit police lieutenant who frequently ventured to Beverly Hills to investigate crimes.

Joining Murphy is a star-studded cast, including Joseph Gordon-Levitt as his new partner. Judge Reinhold will reprise his role as Detective Billy Rosewood, and Kevin Bacon will portray the main antagonist. John Ashton and Judge Reinhold will also make appearances in the long-awaited sequel.
